Studies on Importance of Using Meat, Fish and their Derivates in Athletes Diet

Rational diet is the diet that fulfills the nutrients quantity and quality needs of human body considering the physiological features, the effort and environmental conditions in which the effort takes place. It containes plastic, energy and catalytic substances needed. The state of nutritional balance is the state in which the athlete's body should be found.
Due to the high nutritional value and especially due to its class I protein content, meat and fish are needed during exercise and sports especially during speed and strength exercises. This study presentes the nutritional value, the nutritious advantages and disadvantages and also the necessary ration of meat, fish and their derivatives in the diet of athletes.
